Doing a lot of studies and exercises, trying to establish a solid technique and get more familiar with things I usually avoid. This week will be natural textures. The first study I did was trees, so here's what I did yesterday

I usually go on Google and search until I find about... 20 photos I'd like to study from. And using Google's Picasa I can arrange them in a mosaic-style collage type deal. Fast and easy ref sheets so I can get right down to business. Next up is flowers and leaves, then rocks and water, then sky/clouds, and lastly, SPACE *3*
